Whitford St. Holmes, features veteran rockers Brad Whitford (Aerosmith) and Derek St. Holmes (Ted Nugent). Are Back with highly anticipated follow-up to their 1981 self titled debut release with, 'Reunion'. As a fan of both Derek St. Holmes and Brad Whitford, this album was going to be good regardless - but I was really impressed with the quality of songwriting. Staying true to their classic rock roots. Rocking out nine songs packed with attitude, swagger and hooks. Every track on this album gets a solid 9 or 10 out of 10 from me. Personal favorites are, "Shapes", "Rock All Day', "Hell Is On Fire", "Gotta Keep On Movin'" and "Flood Of Lies". Derek St. Holmes' vocals are as soulful and powerful as ever, and it would be remiss not to mention Brad Whitford's outstanding guitar work. The chemistry between them fit each song like a glove. 'Reunion' is a recording that is rock 'n' roll in its purest sense. An homage to what rock music used to be like performed by talented musicians that spent years mastering their craft getting together and making one hell of an album. So I had to wait 35 years for Whitford St. Holmes to put out 'Reunion'! All I can say is it was well worth the wait. (Note: Special edition includes a remastered version of Whitford St. Holmes debut release.) Highly Recommended
