CD REVIEW: SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET by Bob Kulick

SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET by Bob Kulick
(Vanity Music)

Having played with the likes of KISS, Meat Loaf, Lou Reed, W.A.S.P., Skull, Murderer’s Row and several other bands and studio projects over the years. Guitarist Bob Kulick delivers 'Skeletons In The Closet' , a ten song album featuring half brand new songs and half material from his storied past. Talk about bringing out the "Big Guns", Kulick enlisted a who's who of singers and musicians. On vocals are, David Glen Eisley, Andrew Freeman, Todd Kerns, Robin McAuley, Dennis St. James, Dee Snider, Vick Wright. On bass, Kjell Benner, Bobby Ferrari, Bruce Kulick, Dennis St. James, Rudy Sarzo, Chuck Wright.  On drums, Vinnie Appice, Frankie Banali, Chuck Burgi, Scot Coogan, Brent Fitz, Bobby Rock, Jay Schellen, Eric Singer and on keyboards Doug Katsaros, Jimmy Waldo. An amalgam of balls to the wall rockers such as "Rich Man", "Not Before You" and the dark and sinister, "London". As well a killer cover of "Goldfinger". It was great to see "Guitar Commandos" and "Eyes Of A Stranger" making the cut from his stint in the highly underrated  project Skull and their album, 'No Bones About It'. Overall, 'Skeletons In The Closet' runs the gamut of traditional hard rock and is heightened by the powerhouse talent that is featured on this album.  With talented fire power like that the album better rock and IT DOES!
 Highly Recommended
